PodCamp Atlanta story goes nationwide!

by Rusty Tanton, March 22, 2007 - 10:26am

We made national news!

The Associated Press wrote a story about PodCamp Atlanta that was first picked up by five or six Georgia papers (Athens, Columbus, Macon, Rome, Hall County). Then the national press picked it up either yesterday or today. So far, those include the Boston Herald, Businessweek, Forbes, Fox News, the Houston Chronicle, Newsday, the Sacramento Bee, USA Today, the Washington Post, and many others.

There were even two outlets in the UK that picked it up, so I guess we're world-wide!

Wow! Good to see! It was a great weekend and I enjoyed meeting everyone. There seemed to be a lot of interest in podcasting. I wonder if anyone would be interested in more seminars. Maybe we could do a couple of more smaller ones throughout this year?

I'm down for that! We should think of a group project to do at some point. Like readings from crappy romance novels, with all of us playing a character.

"Like readings from crappy romance novels, with all of us playing a character."

Wait a minute, we already had that idea. :)

We've got the novel and everything. Laura, do you want to play the busty single mother or the impudent teenage daughter?
