The God of my understanding is a user-friendly God. It responds to my deepest thoughts and beliefs, creating in my experience whatever I am willing to accept. The Law of Mind is mine to use, and there is nothing I cannot do, nothing I cannot create, and nothing I cannot attract if I use it intelligently.

The world in which I live is filled with the presence of Spirit. There is not a single point where love and peace and abundance are not present. They are ready to blossom as soon as we stop interfering through our own ignorance and confusion. Beneath the world I see is paradise ready to unfold, awaiting our recognition.

I am ready for all of God’s good to come into my life through me. I am powerful, creative and intelligent. I am loving, peaceful and happy. I am whole, complete and perfect. As a perfect reflection of God in the world, I rejoice in the Life I have been given. I no longer limit myself by refusing to recognize my own divinity.

I know that God is the perfection of Life, always expressing itself as Love and Law. It supports its creation without judgment or punishment. It is a power for good in the universe, always giving the best of itself. It is health, wholeness, abundance and creativity, and it is always present everywhere.

Our introduction bumper that we put in front of all of our podcasts says we're "focused on all things Atlanta and sometimes elsewhere." This is another of our "sometimes elsewhere" episodes, and I think it's one of our better interviews.

The subject is Peter Hughes, PhD, who is from Augusta, Ga. One of his great passions is to document the life and times of Henry Shultz.

Shultz is an interesting historic figure for a variety of reasons, including:

• Building the first successful bridge across the Savannah River, which connected Augusta to South Carolina, against formidable odds when others had failed
• Founding the town of Hamburg, South Carolina (which no longer exists) out of spite for Augusta
• A reputation of being both a shrewd entrepreneur and a violent megalomaniac.

Hughes has a section of his web site dedicated to the life and time of Shultz, which is one of only a few Internet sources that mentions Hamburg or Shultz at all (aside from a few sources about the Hamburg Massacre, which was after Shultz's time). We discuss what led him to create it, and Hughes shares several stories about this colorful historic figure.

For the second installment of the Sub-Optimal Beer podcast, Thomas, James, Garrett, Rusty Seth, and myself gathered at the Highlander for the battle of the heavyweights. MORE LIKE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHTS, AM I RIGHT? Sigh. There aren't really any surprises in here regarding either of these two beers, but it is 25 worthwhile minutes of spirited, entertaining banter at the expense of a two large multi-national conglomerates. Also, James coins what could be a new name for the podcast around the 23:42 mark.

This is the fourth and final Cast Podcast for A Midsummer Night's Dream. Actors are so busy and it is difficult to keep them in one place long enough to share a few words. And so, in this Cast Podcast, we offer a little insight into the thoughts and motivations of two mighty Tinkers and a couple best described as Forces of Nature.

Music for this podcast is a track called "It Was 1972" by Lasswell, an artist on CCMixter.org (available via Creative Commons). Given that we set our Midsummer in 1973, it just seemed appropriate.

Finally, on the eve of auditions for our next show, we're posting our last Cast Podcast for Midsummer. And even then, there were a handful of very talented actors who slipped through our grasp without recording their own contribution! But rest assured that we couldn't have done our original show without the talented efforts of Sherry, Julia and Scott. We'd also like to thank Patrick, Elizabeth and Wendy for stepping in for our re-staging of Midsummer in Lawrenceville.
