A funny thing happened to Grayson Hurst Daughters on the way to the "Let's Hate Wal-Mart" rally: she was distracted by a conversation. In her most recent column, she says that the perception she'd held about Wal-Mart slowly morphed into a new reality built on a solicitous, open-minded, participatory stance from Wal-Mart management.
