In this episode, I interview Randy Bonner, organizer of the Urban Carnival of the Arts, an art show for urban and underground artwork that will take place Jan. 27 at 6 p.m at Studio 980. We spent most of the time discussing these artists, whose work will be featured in the show:
- Brooke Novak, a photographer with an extensive set of Atlanta graffiti photos
- Circus Morpheus, a group of fire performers (here is a link to Isa Shisha, who is one member of the group)
- Dumpster Dive Records, who will provide DJs for the show
- GodCity, a group of painters
- Granola Funk Express, a hippy hip hop band
- Homesown, a clothing designer
- Max Brand, a piercer
- Steffi Langer, who runs a naughty photo booth
- The Terror Twins, who dress in metal fetishwear and smash each other with power tools
- Tim Baxley, a tatoo artist
