This is the fourth and final Cast Podcast for A Midsummer Night's Dream. Actors are so busy and it is difficult to keep them in one place long enough to share a few words. And so, in this Cast Podcast, we offer a little insight into the thoughts and motivations of two mighty Tinkers and a couple best described as Forces of Nature.

Finally, on the eve of auditions for our next show, we're posting our last Cast Podcast for Midsummer. And even then, there were a handful of very talented actors who slipped through our grasp without recording their own contribution! But rest assured that we couldn't have done our original show without the talented efforts of Sherry, Julia and Scott. We'd also like to thank Patrick, Elizabeth and Wendy for stepping in for our re-staging of Midsummer in Lawrenceville.

Under normal circumstances, we'd be at that relaxing post-show phase, putting away costumes and preparing for the fall. But Midsummer is not over just yet, as NFDC has been invited to participate in next month's Gwinnett County Community Theatre Festival! So if you missed us on the lawn at Barrington Hall, come to Lawrenceville in June to see us do something we've never done: Perform Indoors!

And... we're back!

It's been far too long since our last official NFDC Podcast -- though we've been a recurring feature on the Atlanta Performs podcasts (Thanks, Joe!) -- but don't think for a minute that we haven't been busy. Far from it.

In fact, we've been so busy that we had to record this podcast over the course of two nights' rehearsals. Basically, we went about our business and left the recorder running. The results? Better than you might expect, if perhaps a bit manic.

Topics covered during this podcast include (and are not limited to) casseroles, table blocking, Barbies, Project Runway, NPR, obscure stitching terms ... and quite a bit about our upcoming show, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
