This is our second live show (here's the first), and it was very exciting because we actually had several chat room participants, and a caller! Jen, use your $20 Inserection gift card wisely.

Things discussed:

• Voicemails from Nobilis, Jen, and Tony. Thanks y'all, and keep 'em coming. Drunk-dialing is accepted and encouraged. My favorite was Tony's voicemail about Northside Drive, so maybe he should get the other Inserection gift card, and you two can buy something extra-special.
• Our thoughts on CBS' new show, Swingtown. We are brimming with opinions about this show. We didn't get around to talking about the possible anachronisms, but perhaps next time. I'm guessing the chances are pretty good that there will be a next time, since we're already planning to watch at least the third episode.
• I read a ridiculous ad from Xcitement Magazine, and rant semi-coherently about becoming discouraged about the adult industry ~8-10 years ago.

We start off by reading several listener comments we received on recent podcasts about sex clubs, which have been attracting many new listeners. One couple listening propositioned us, which was very flattering.

Then we move on to the next order of business. We took a road trip about a week ago, stopping through Augusta, Ga., Columbia, S.C., and several small towns. Amber had never seen any hotel porn, so when we were in Columbia we decided to pay for a couple of movies: Screw My Wife Please 50: And Make It an Orgy! and 3 Blowin' Me. Reviews within.

Also included: a PSA for 2007 International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.

We planned (a word I'm using very loosely here) for this to be a live Skypecast where we could have callers, but apparently Skypecasts don't work so well for Mac users. They sure as hell didn't work for us:

If you have better ideas for good ways to do live broadcasts with callers, please leave them here in the comments, email them to rusty@gapodcastnetwork.com or leave them on our voicemail at 678.389.9441. NowLive, Live365, Talkshoe, BlogTalkRadio, etc. are nice for many uses, but we're not interested in their file hosting and would like better sound quality than most of them can offer. Getting a Shoutcast/Icecast stream comes to mind, but damn, it seems like we should be able to do this with VOIP somehow.

Onward and downward...

After we talk about the Skypecasting debacle, topics included:

• Amber's birthday and why she grew up resenting Halloween
• How Facebook is awesome when it's your birthday, how LinkedIn sucks, with a transition into a discussion of Google's new OpenSocial platform. I spend about five minutes talking out of my ass about OpenSocial (which I just noticed abbreviates as O.S., like "operating system" ... very clever Google, very clever indeed).
• Following up on a previous podcast about Atlanta sex clubs, we recall our experience at Little Wings of Atlanta, the third we've been to (if you actually count Club Venus, which I'm tempted not to).
• Commentary about disproportionate ratios in sex fantasies where we earn our Explicit label in iTunes
• A little about the recent GA Politics Podcast, which we enjoyed thoroughly.
• Announcements about the Atlanta Social Media Mixer on Nov. 13 and the Atlanta Photography Exhibit on Nov 23
